How it works

At Desi Rijschool you will learn to drive at your own pace, We are always flexible, working around your specific schedule and needs. We have a variety of driving lesson packages to suit every learner and budget. Each lesson is 2 hour in duration. You can also combine the packages.


Are you too afraid of getting behind the wheel? Don't panic, we provide lessons in a car with dual controls. Professional training is an important investment in your safety. Our friendly and patient instructor will help you develop the skills you need to drive safely, confidently and overcome your driving phobia.

Package 1 (2 hour lesson)

You are an experienced driver and want to refresh your skills, or you just need to practice in a certain area, e.g. reverse parking, driving on a highway or preparing the road test. If there are any rough edges in your driving habits, they will be refined. You will get proper training, information and hints about the test.

Package 2 (6 hour lessons)

If you have failed the road test twice in a row, It is compulsory to follow 6 hour lessons. We work together on your weak points. As experienced instructor, we practise driving on the test routes that can be taken during the exam. You will be getting hints and tips which will boost your self confidence which get you through the road test.


You can also take the package of 6 hour lessons to learn the basic driving techniques like seat and mirrors adjustment, steering the car,  clutch control, how to change gears and the procedure of moving the car off and stopping etc. This will help you to hit the road further with your own supervisor. If you feel like to practice extra driving skiils with us, you can purchase more lessons.

Package 3 (20 hour lessons)

In order to obtain 18-months provisional driving licence which allow you to drive alone, you need to complete the package of  20 hour lessons. After attending these 20 hour lessons you receive a "certificate" if you are able to drive alone. With this certificate you can apply for provisional driving license in your commune. You must take the road test with the period of 18 months.

Package 4 (practical test guidance)

For taking the road test, you have two options, namely, in your own car or in our lesson car. If you choose your own car to take the test, you can ask our instructor to drive with you on the test.


It's highly recommended that you take 2 hour lesson before your road test. This is not compulsory, but will increase your chance of passing the test. You are also expected a little earlier on the day of the test that our instructor can prepare you the questions which examiner may ask at the beginning of the test.
